Sometimes you get hit really hard

I rarely write here about world happenings not directly related with my job, this is one of the exceptions. I was in London over the weekend with my friend Livia and there was piece of news that hit me straight like a fist in the stomach. I’m not going to explain what happened to fligh MH17, every news outlet was over it in the last three days, I gave a look at this VICE video (warning: it’s very graphic) and I felt sick. I feel I could have been on that flight, one of colleagues and friends too and probably I’m not used to this level of involvement.
