I have been in Vegas for four days and I have been introduced to several games. One of those is crap. It’s a fun game to look at, and it has romanticized by pop culture. Every time there are people in a casino, in a movie, they are playing poker, roulette, or crap.
Not being a gambler I find particular interest in observing the people who play games. I like how they try to rationalize their irrational behavior. They indulge in endless arguments on how to maximize the odds of every game, what are the best strategies to minimize losses and amplify wins.
As a counter argument I remind them about the story of that dude who made a fortune paying craps here in Vegas and built his multimillionaire mansion right behind the airport. Have you ever heard of this story?
Exactly, that’s the point…
