How to Tell if a Movie was Good or Not

I binge watched Westworld on HBO and finished the whole first season a week ago. I spent the last week thinking about elements of the story, charachters, philosophical implications of the plot.

If a movie leaves so much thinking behind, it was definitely a good one.
