Charging Station DIY

I recently purchased an 8-drawer dresser for our bedroom. With this simple hack, I turned one of the upper drawers into a great charging station that can hold 4 lightning devices (iPhone, iPad, AirPods, etc), two Apple watches, and four micro USB devices (kindle, android phones, etc).

All you need is a 10 port USB charger and a few cables. The IKEA dividers are nice to keep cables from tangling too much. They have zippers on the bottom and cables can pass through easily.

It was just enough to punch a little hole in the back panel of the dresser to fit in the power cable for the charger.

It works perfectly and it’s invisible when the drawer is closed.

I like that, but this shows the insanity of how many devices a typical person has that needs charging lol

I am concerned about that too, in case it gets too warm, I’ll simply keep the drawer fully open when charging at night, and closed during the day without any messy cabling all over the place.
